Voronoi Diagrams in Java: The Secret Geometry Behind Everything Cool

We are going to finish out the year strong with another meeting. This month, our very own Ryan Hoegg will be joining us to introduce us to Voronoi diagrams, "pretty pictures" with a host of real world applications.

The Presentation

Voronoi diagrams help solve problems in GIS/maps, games, and networking, but more importantly they make pretty pictures! Come see what a Voronoi diagram is, and how to build one with java. We'll look into the algorithms used, and see some of the java libraries that do it for you. Also maybe get into a little math

Ryan Hoegg has a software firm here in OKC, and has been involved in the JUG since 2006. He will also be hoping you join his adventofcode.com leaderboard this year.
