General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) has an opening for a dual-role Project Manager /Software developer with Java, XML, Web Services, Microsoft C#, and .NET Framework experience to work in the AF IT Solutions Group at OC-ALC/ENG directorate located at Tinker AFB in Midwest City, OK. This position will be part of a software development, maintenance, engineering, and technician team providing full-time support to the government that develops and maintains ASIP related client/server and Web-based applications, and related databases.

Job functions:
-Architect, design, develop, test, implement and maintain primarily Web-based software applications and programs using: Microsoft .Net Framework, ASP.Net, C#.Net, XML, Java, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Visual Basic, PL/SQL, Oracle 9i/10g and other technologies.
-Provide software application and programs support functions with on-call responsibilities.
-Mentor less skilled developers and participate in peer review groups.
-Produce and maintain professional quality documentation for code, systems, software, and applications as required by project requirements.
-Manage the software development life cycle for multiple projects.
-Responsible for quality and configuration management.

 B.S. Computer Information Science (CIS), Information Systems, or Engineering -- or related field.
PMI PMP preferred.

Requires 8-10+ years professional experience including references and work history.
-5+ years project management experience. Experience managing government contracts is a plus.
-8+ years software development experience using J2EE, Java, Oracle PL/SQL, HTML, XML, Javascript. .Net Framework experience is a plus.
-4+ years of proven full-time experience designing, developing and implementing complex n-tier systems required. Software architecture experience a plus.
-Mastery of C#.Net and/or Java programming languages required.
-Experience developing under Microsoft Windows Server and Workstation, Oracle, and MS SQL Server operating environments.
-Experience with Microsoft Visual Source Safe or other version control systems.
-Strong business analysis and communications experience.
-Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Methodologies / Programming.
-Demonstrated ability to meet quality and schedule requirements.
-Demonstrated ability to work in structured team environments.

Unique/Additional Requirements:
o Experience with Unified Modeling Language (UML) Modeling
o Experience with Visual Studio 2005 Team Suite or Foundation Server and/or JBuilder/Eclipse
o Familiarity with XML, XSL, and SOAP technologies.
o Familiarity with DoD RM and development standards
o Must have ability to obtain a security clearance or pass a National Agency Check (which requires US Citizenship) (Required).
