Short Description:
Primary responsibility is developing web-based applications using the Java platform, also utilizing XML, XSLT, CSS, and other web standards. Prior experience with U.S. military technical manuals (T.O.s) is desired. The ability to be focused, work in a demanding environment, and under tight deadlines while producing quality product is essential.

EDUCATION: A college degree is required (preferably CS/IS major with programming emphasis).

REQUIRED SKILLS: 2 or more years of professional experience in the web applications development field using the Java platform. Candidate must have the ability to work well in a team environment and have a strong customer service orientation.

DESIRED SKILLS: Oracle application server (10g) experience, and understanding of PL/SQL. Experience with jDeveloper, Toad, XMLSpy, Subversion (SVN), Ant, FOP, Struts, POI, Tomcat, Derby/Cloudscape, and Apache webservers. Markup language experience, including but not limited to SGML, XML, XHTML, HTML, SVG. Experience with U.S. military T.O.s.

Previous experience with the binary graphic format CGM is a big plus.
