Frameworks based on the popular Ruby on Rails framework have sprouted up all over the web to help make developing web applications a zip. Out of the growing popularity of the Groovy dynamic programming language for the Java platform a new framework has spawned. A framework that has taken the concept of "convention over configuration" and made it at home in the Java desktop world. Introducing Griffon. This ain't yer momma's Swing framework.
